Americas Marcoms

A vacancy has arisen for an Marketing Communication person based in the Americas Technical Centre to provide leadership and co-ordination of the Marketing Communications function in the region.

You will generate sales leads in the Americas region by - advertising, brand management, brand campaigns, promotion/packaging, PR(publicity), sales promotion and direct marketing mail and online. Demand generation of product/services

Principle responsibilities are:-

1. The creation and execution of printed marketing collateral to use as a strategic element of company branding so we ensure consistency of message and delivery throughout the Americas region - a consistent "look & feel".
2. Be able to take a creative idea and transform it into attention-getting advertisements and marketing campaigns designed for various media in direct cooperation with our UK Technical Center.
3. Develop and oversee the maintenance of a regional Customer Database for use in direct marketing campaigns and customer touch points.
4. Prepare and pre-empt National & Regional Trade Shows - to include coordinating Internal Servomex Training and Meetings.
5. Develop Webinar Agenda with UK Technical Center and product managers.
6. Develop & Distribute Monthly Americas Channel Partner Newsletter.
7. Develop Regional Marketing Brochures to support campaigns and Sales Objectives including the review, sourcing & purchase of targeted mail lists.
8. Responsible for the Servomex Demo Van: Schedule, Branding, Life cycle.
9. Oversee Regional MARCOM Budget – 1) Trade Shows 2) Touch points 3) Branding Direct Mail 4) Demo Van
10. Develop a sustained Targeted Direct Mail Program in line with national sales initiatives.
11. Be comfortable with the support of Servomex Social Media campaigns
12. Work with UK PR Consultant to build regionally appropriate company brand awareness.
13. Maintain local promotional items for trade shows, training & special events.
14. Owner of internal Executive Management touch points that conform to Servomex Corporate brand Identity.

You will have either a CIM qualification or equivalent, proven Marketing Communications Experience and an Industrial Automation background would be preferable.

Engineering Manager

A vacancy has arisen for an Engineering Manager based at Servomex's UK Technical Centre to provide leadership and co-ordination of the engineering function in the UK.

You will work across our Business Units and all other engineering related departments to provide world class rigour to all engineering disciplines, leading to successful on-time completion of our engineering and process improvement projects.

Principle responsibilities are:-

- To lead the engineering teams in core disciplines of sensor and instrumentation technology
- Delivery of NPI, product enhancement and product engineering projects within time and budget, ensuring clearly assigned responsibility and accountability within the key sustaining engineering processes
- Introduction and maintenance of world class product manufacturing processes
- Driving cross-functional team dynamics
- Setting overall technical strategy in conjunction with business leadership and market requirements
- Developing technology talent and driving employee engagement
- Overseeing technical training process

You will have an engineering degree, or equivalent, and have a proven capability of leading a large group of cross-disciplines and functions. Experience of hazardous area instrumentation an advantage, a change agent with the ability to influence at all levels. NPI process experience essential (APQP, TS16949, ISO90001). Six sigma/lean experience desirable.

You will be customer focused, organised and tenacious in your problem-solving approach, self-motivated and committed to driving improvement processes throughout the engineering organisation. Competent in MS Office, Lotus Notes and SAP.

Team Members within our Specialist Analyser Department

As a successful candidate, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of analysers, have a flexible team working approach with dexterity in assembly-type work and an ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to manufacturing procedures. Previous experience of mechanical and electrical assemblies would be useful. Computer literacy required. Full training will be given.

Test Technician within our Specialist Analyser Department

As a successful candidate, will have an understanding of manufacturing production processes and principles with knowledge of testing and calibration of analytical equipment. A formal qualification in engineering or chemistry is preferred. Proven experience of test and calibration within a manufacturing environment together with excellent organisational skills will be an advantage as will team leading capabilities.

Mechanical Engineer

Servomex is a global leader in the design development and manufacture of advanced gas analysis products. Based in our state of the art Technical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex, you will be a vital cog in the wheel of the development of the mechanical design aspects of measurement elements.

Following internal promotion, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team of engineers from across all engineering disciplines. Reporting to the Product Manager/Project Leader you will be degree qualified with proven experience in developing, designing, evaluating and documenting all aspects of the mechanical design process. An appreciation of design for manufacture, the requirements for packaging sensitive electronic assemblies and knowledge of 3D CAD design, ideally ProEngineer or SolidWorks, combined with experience in aluminium casting, moulding and sheet metal design will be a distinct advantage.

As a creative, results orientated engineer with an understanding of the needs of Manufacturing, you will offer technical expertise and assistance in your particular area of competence. You will be self-motivated, commercially aware and tenacious in your drive to achieve your agreed objectives to planned timescales, managing on and off-site CAD resources. You will possess a can-do attitude and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in project teams when selected so a flexible approach is required.
